Product Condition

Many of our furniture items are vintage or pre-owned and are sold “as is”. Due to their age and prior use, these items may display signs of wear, including minor imperfections, scratches, fading, or other characteristics typical of vintage pieces. We do our best to highlight any major flaws, but imperfections from age and general use should be expected. Assuming no major imperfections, we prefer to leave most pieces ‘as is’, as we believe this adds to their character and history.

 

Descriptions and Images

We strive to provide accurate descriptions and clear images of each item, including any noticeable flaws. If you have specific questions, please contact us before purchasing. Colours and finishes may appear differently on screens than in person, so please consider this when viewing images.

 

Refunds and Returns

Due to the unique and one-of-a-kind nature of our inventory, we do not accept returns for change of mind. All sales are final, and items are sold as-is. However, we are committed to complying with Australian Consumer Law. Under this law, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund if an item is found to be faulty or significantly different from its description. Minor wear, typical for vintage items, does not constitute a fault.

Faults and Major Issues: If you believe the item has a fault not disclosed in the listing or it arrives in a significantly different condition than described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We may require photos or other evidence to assess the issue.

No Returns for Imperfections Due to Age: Please note that minor imperfections such as small scratches, fading, or other signs of use are to be expected and are part of the item’s character. These do not qualify as faults and are not eligible for returns or refunds.

 

Shipping and Delivery

Please ensure that the shipping address provided is accurate, as we cannot be responsible for delays or issues arising from incorrect information.

Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your location. Please select the correct option for your delivery location. Please contact us if your location is not shown.

In some cases, we may need to quote for shipping before delivery. In these instances, your shipping will be invoiced separately. 

All orders will be shipped out within 2-7 days from day of purchase (excluding weekends and holiday closing periods).

 

Access and Delivery Conditions

Please measure your space carefully and check the access to your property before purchasing. Please ensure that items will fit through doorways, elevators, or other access points. We do not offer refunds if an item cannot be delivered due to access issues.

Our shipping prices include level access delivery. Please contact us prior to delivery if there are stairs, as this may require an additional charge.

 

Damages During Transit

We take great care in packing each piece to ensure it arrives safely. However, if an item arrives damaged due to transit, please notify us with photos within 24 hours of delivery. We will work with you and the courier to resolve the issue, which may include a repair, replacement, or partial refund, depending on the extent of the damage and the availability of similar items.
